The Today show’s Brooke Boney swoons over Diplo as he performs atop the Sydney Harbour Bridge wearing an Aboriginal Flag patch on his sleeve

She joined the Today show as an entertainment reporter earlier this year, and has already met major Hollywood stars like Chris Hemsworth and Angelina Jolie.

And Brooke Boney had a ‘pinch-me moment’ on Thursday, when she climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge for a DJ set by American superstar Diplo.

The former Triple J newsreader, 31, shared a stunning photo to Instagram of herself atop the world-famous landmark as the sun began to set.

In the accompanying caption, Brooke revealed she was touched by the fact Diplo had worn an Aboriginal Flag patch on his sleeve.

‘Imagine my little heart when @diplo rocked up to this gig on top of the Harbour Bridge with a little Aboriginal flag on his sleeve,’ she wrote.

Diplo, whose real name is Thomas Wesley Pentz, was asked to perform in honour of Bridge Climb Sydney’s 21st birthday.

Footage of the DJ set was later shared to Instagram, and showed a group of around 30 to 60 people on a dancefloor 134 metres above sea level.

Diplo himself also posted several photos from atop the bridge.

‘Management thought it would be a good idea right after I landed to DJ on top of Sydney Harbour Bridge,’ he wrote.
