Brody Jenner and Kaitlynn Carter haven’t made it clear if they were in a ‘polyamorous relationship’ or not.
The former couple were quizzed about their relationship together in a teaser for an upcoming episode of The Hills: New Beginnings by a friend, as she claimed fellow co-star Stephanie Pratt had assumed they were in a ‘polyamorous relationship’.
‘Stephanie, she’s just like, asking about your relationship,’ the friend said.
‘She’s like: “I don’t know, isn’t there someone else, like, involved?”’
‘What does she mean by that?’ Kaitlynn replied.
‘She thinks you guys are, like, in this like polyamorous relationship.’
‘That’s none of her business,’ Brody responded. ‘We like what we like.’
Kaitlynn later admitted in the teaser she and her former beau were ‘young and crazy’ and they ‘did a lot things’ that she doesn’t regret.
‘When Brody and I first were together, we were young, we were crazy, we were, like, you know, basically just trying to have the time of our lives,’ she said.
‘So we did a lot of things in our relationship that, you know, I certainly wouldn’t say I regret, but the level of gossip that I feel happens in the group — it just makes me angry.’
This comes after the couple split in August after a year of marriage.
Since then, both have moved on pretty quickly.
Not long after the split was announced, Kaitlynn was pictured kissing Miley Cyrus while the two were on holiday together in Lake Como in Italy – just hours after Miley and Liam Hemsworth announced their separation.
And now, Brody is dating Josie Canseco, with the two celebrating the reality star’s 36th birthday in Malibu.
Brody previously defended his ex-wife, saying that she deserves ‘respect and happiness’.
‘Kaitlynn and I have been best friends for six years, and we continue to be,’ he said in a statement on Instagram.
‘I respect Kaitlynn and care deeply about her. She deserves to be able to move forward in her life with respect and happiness.’
