Brits 2020: Maya Jama leaves after-party swiftly after ex-boyfriend Stormzy’s arrival

Maya Jama made a very swift exit from a Brits after-party, shortly after ex-boyfriend Stormzy turned up.

The pair split last August after a four-year relationship, with the Shut Up rapper later insisting he still wanted to marry the presenter.

But it doesn’t seem as though the 25-year-old was all that keen on a catch-up with her former flame, as he rocked up to Warner’s after-party at the swanky Chiltern Firehouse.

In fact, she was spotted making her way out of the bash soon after his arrival, in a bid to swerve an awkward reunion.

Maya looked incredible on the night, donning a sparkly blue mini-dress and matching furry shoes, with a white clutch bag.

While 26-year-old Stormzy – who took home the award for male solo artist on the night – couldn’t wipe the smile off his face as he rocked up to the party.

While it hasn’t been revealed exactly what caused them to break up, reps for the Vossi Bop star insisted rumours he was unfaithful are completely untrue.

Stormzy penned a heartbreaking track about their relationship on his album, called Lessons, where he opened up about his biggest regrets.

And, in a candid chat with Charlamagne Tha God, he admitted he was still hopeful for a reunion one day.

‘I would love for that to happen, but I don’t know…I would love to be the man who she…I would love to do all the things that make it work,’ he said.

‘I want to marry her, I want to have her children. All of that.’
