Laura Whitmore stunned as she hit the Brits 2020 red carpet in London on Tuesday night.

The Love Island host, 34, stepped out for this year’s awards, held at the O2, and was dressed to impress in a cool glitter mini dress.

Bringing the glamour with her to arguably the music bash of the year, Laura teamed her flirty print-inspired dress with a cute feathered bag and slinky black heels.

She wore her blonde hair in messy curls, while pinning one side back with a stylish gold pin, and finished things off with beaut make-up, including some gold shimmer on her eyes.

Ahead of her appearance on the red carpet, Laura confirmed her attendance at the Brits, alongside the likes of Harry Styles, Stormzy and Billie Eilish, via Instagram and told fans she was putting on her dancing shoes.

Snapping her gold-studded heels and her ticket in her story, Laura penned: ‘Sometimes you just need to put on your dancing shoes,’ while tagging the Brits and adding a love heart emoji.

The last few days haven’t been easy for Laura, who has been remembering her close friend Caroline Flack, after news surfaced of the TV presenter’s death over the weekend.

Caroline was found dead in her home on Saturday, 15 February, with a lawyer for the Flack family confirming the 40-year-old took her own life.

Laura paid tribute to Caroline during her BBC 5 Live radio show on Sunday morning and emotionally urged fans to ‘be kind’ to one another, while honouring her friend.

She said: ‘Caroline Flack made a decision to take her own life and I want to talk about it. I want to talk about her and give her the respect that she deserves and that she didn’t always get.

‘Anyone who knew Caroline knew she was vivacious, loving and had a passion for life, which is why none of this makes sense.

‘You don’t have to tear down someone to feel good about yourself. So to listeners, be kind, only you are responsible for how you treat others and what you put out to the world.’

Laura also addressed the backlash Love Island has faced since Caroline’s passing and said: ‘Caroline loved love. That’s all she wanted, which is why Love Island is so important to her because the show is about finding love, friendship, having a laugh.

‘The problem wasn’t the show, the show to work on is loving, and caring and safe, and protective. The problem is the outside world is not.’

Love Island was cancelled over the weekend, but returned on Monday night and aired a heartbreaking tribute, voiced by Iain Stirling, to Caroline.

Laura showed Iain, her boyfriend, her support on Twitter after the tribute aired, telling the comedian she ‘loves’ him and knows that hadn’t been ‘easy’ for him to do.

She replaced Caroline on the show as host for Love Island’s first winter series, after Caroline was arrested for assault in December.

She had pleaded not guilty to the charges and was due in court on 4 March.

The Brit Awards 2020 will be broadcast on ITV from 8pm tonight.
