1) Geri Horner’s boob flash

In 1997 the Spice Girls were at the top of their game, which also saw them win their first Brit Award.

But for an excitable Geri Horner – known then as Geri Halliwell – that night will be remembered as the moment she flashed her boobs to the world.

After wowing the audiences in THAT iconic Union Jack dress, Ginger Spice made a quick change into a busty Jessica Rabbit style red sequinned dress.

Unfortunately the gown couldn’t control her breasts, and as soon as she raised her arm in the air, out they popped for the audience and viewers at home to see.

Who could forget Madonna‘s epic fall during her Brits performance in 2015.

It all went horribly wrong for the Queen of Pop when she came out on stage dressed as a Matador for a performance of Living For Love.

Unfortunately a dancer stood on her cape and she took an embarrassing tumble for all the world to see.

3) Jarvis Cocker’s Michael Jackson stage invasion

Who could forget the moment that Jarvis Cocker stormed the stage in 1996 as the late Michael Jackson’s performance.

While the King of Pop performed Earth Song, the Pulp frontman jumped up on stage and pointed his bottom at the singer, before being removed by security.

He later claimed he’d been upset by the pop icon’s choice to make himself appear Christ-like during the performance.

After the show, Jarvis was arrested, as he was accused of hurting three of the children on stage.

He was subsequently released without charge.

Adele was certainly ticked off when her acceptance speech in 2012 was cut off by host James Corden to make way for a performance from Blur.

As she thanked the fans for her gong, a sheepish looking James said: “I’m so so sorry, I can’t believe I’m going to do this…”

Realising that she was basically being told to get off stage, she said, “Oh alright, I’m sorry and I’ll see you this time next year!” before turning round and sticking her fingers up in the air.

5) Brandon Block’s Ronnie Wood stage invasion

In 2000 a drunk Brandon Block was left red-faced after his friends tricked him into thinking he had won a Brit Award, so he stormed the stage to accept “his award”.

However, this did not go down well with Rolling Stones legend Ronnie Wood who was in the middle of introducing Soundtrack of the Year with Thora Birch.

After slurring into the microphone, Brandon was escorted off stage.

However, when Ronnie aimed an insult at him, he broke free from security and squared up to the ageing rocker, who then threw a drink in his face.

6) Jack Whitehall hosting in 2018

Comedian Jack proved to be the host with the most when he took over as presenter in 2018.

Some of his best bit included Jack’s dig at Ed Sheeran about being able to achieve anything in life except a sun tan.

He then referred to Liam Payne as “Cheryl’s plus one”.

Jack also made a dig at Jesy from Little Mix’s famous “Jamaican accent – He pointed out that the band had hit three billion views on YouTube. “Only two billion of those are people watching you try to do a Jamaican accent Jesy,” he said.

7) Joss Stone’s odd American accent in 2007

Joss Stone certainly raised a few eyebrows when she graced the stage of The Brit Awards 2007 with Mastercard to present the Best British Male Award.

Between her jokes about host Russell Brand’s stint in rehab and the variety of accents she spoke in it’s certainly a moment that’s going to go down in Brits history.

One of the most memorable moments has to be when Fleetwood Mac’s Mick and former Page 3 pin up Sam took over as hosts.

The night was dogged by mix-ups with guests, autocue fails and jokes that went down like lead balloons.

The pair also had a sizeable height difference with 6ft 5 Mick towering over 5ft 1 glamour girl Sam.

One of the most memorable moments has to be in 1998 when Chumbawanba threw a bucket of iced water over Labour MP John Prescott.

Despite the fact the record label apologised, the band weren’t sorry for their actions.

They later said: “If John Prescott has the nerve to turn up at events like the Brit Awards in a vain attempt to make Labour seem cool and trendy, then he deserves all we can throw at him.”

10) Harry styles stuck in the toilet

When One Direction were given the Global Success Award at the 2013 show most of their acceptance speech was conducted without Harry Styles as he was in the loos.

When he finally managed to make it on stage he said: “Sorry I was having a wee.”

He then had to ask Liam Payne what the award was for.

Luckily for Mr Styles his floppy hair and cheeky grin kept the audience happy and he was forgiven for his tardiness.
