Britney Spears tells fans there's 'more to hope for' as she enjoys Maui break

Britney Spears appears to be in good spirits once again after sensationally speaking out against her dad in her latest conservatorship battle.

The singer, 39, jetted out to Maui for some Hawaiian bliss with long-time partner Sam Asghari.

And she appeared to have had a weight lifted off her shoulders following the explosive revelation in court in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The Toxic singer took to Instagram to share her latest movements with her fans and appeared to take a subtle dig at her family while doing so.

The star shared a video of a luxurious view overlooking the beach before switching to clips of her dancing in her room to Feel It Still by Portugal The Man.

The video then cuts to Britney enjoying the sun, sea and sand as she lies down to make sand angels and allow the water to trickle onto her body.

She captioned the post: “Well damn … I did it again !!!! Maui part 2 !!!!! This footage is more current though … from YESTERDAY !!! I’m driving the cheapest car known to mankind but it’s pretty fun …

“I like the sound of the ocean at night and I like hearing people laughing from my balcony … there’s a togetherness here and it’s endless !!! Here’s me playing in the dirt and making angels in the sand in the ocean !!!!”

And she told her fans they can expect more updates. She continued: “More to come … more to share … more to dream … more to hope for … and many more to pray for !!!! GOD BLESS YOU ALL !!!! Here’s to Maui !!!!”

It comes after the star’s sister Jamie Lynn Spears finally spoke out after almost a week of silence since the revelations from Britney’s conservatorship hearing.

The 30-year-old had come under fire recently for staying quiet after Britney’s confessions that she felt her family had let her down over the order which gives dad Jamie control over Britney’s financial and personal affairs.

The younger sibling had gone as far as turning her comments off on Instagram, but she took to her Instagram Stories on Monday night to answer her haters with an emotional speech, saying she supports the end of the conservatorship if that’s what Britney wants.

A source close to Britney says she is “relieved” to have spoken out and is “ready to be free”.

The source said: “She’s relieved to have finally been able to speak her truth. She loves her family so much, and she wants to protect them, but at the same time, she’s ready to be free of them.”
