British Transport Police reveal surprise over 'suspicious car' at Stirling station

Police officers in Stirling were called to the train station in the town earlier tonight after reports of a suspicious car, however all wasn’t as it seemed.

Instead of tracking down some sort of dodgy dealings in the car park they came across a different kind of car altogether – Jimmy Carr .

The English comedian was passing through the station when the cops stopped for a snap with the 8 out of Ten Cats presenter.

In a tweet British Transport Police said: “When @BTPNorthScot officers were called to reports of a #SuspiciousCar at @ScotRail #StirlingStation you can imagine their surprise when they were met by @jimmycarr.

“Top bloke who left officers smiling as he passed through the station.”

Jimmy Carr is currently on his Terribly Funny stand-up tour of the UK.

Tonight he is performing at the Perth Concert Hall , while tomorrow night he will be on stage at the Caird Hall in Dundee.
