British Airways launches £35 seat sale with flights to Greece and Italy


BRITISH Airways has launched their latest sale with seats for just £35 to UK and European destinations.

There are one million seats available – but you need to book by September 22 to make the most of the deal.

Destinations include Athens in Greece, as well as Venice, Milan and Naples in Italy – all quarantine-free destinations.

UK destinations include Dublin, Glasgow and Newcastle.

While the sale ends on September 22, the flights can be booked until the end of March 2021.

Their new flexible booking policy also allows passengers to move their flights without paying for change fees until the end of the month.

Flights can be moved as late as August 2021.

Club Europe fares include £119 return flights to Dublin, or £169 return flights to Nice.

If you fancy a Caribbean break, BA Holidays are offering £100 off flight and hotel packages when booked until September 22, available for dates until March 2021.

Andrew Brem, British Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer, said: “It is exciting to be able to offer our customers a great range of low fares on travel to a large number of short-haul destinations, alongside our impressive sale prices.

“Travellers can book with absolute confidence knowing we are operating with stringent safety measures in place and that should anything crop up they can change their plans incurring no change fees, thanks to our flexible booking policy.”

The airline has also announced a number of new safety measures being followed amid the pandemic.

These include:

  • Passengers checking in online and self-scanning their boarding passes
  • Wearing a face mask at all times, with more than one mask on flights longer than four hours
  • Passengers given a personal protection pack including a sealable disposal bag, hand sanitising gel and an antibacterial wipe.
  • Plane key surfaces such as seats, screens and tray tables cleaned after every flight
