Former Britain’s Got Talent winners Jack Pack believe they’re giving Michael Bublé a run for his money.

Metro.co.uk spoke to one-half of Jack Pack, who came fourth in Britain’s Got Talent in 2014, about their unique new album coming out and with the sheer old-school talent the group has, Michael better watch out.

Speaking on who he’d want to impress with his singing, Joe Woolford told us: ‘A lot of the people that we perform in front of tend to say that I’m the Bublé of the group and I’d be interested to see what he thought of us as a collective as the songs we do are the songs he loves and performs.’

Jack Pack – Britain’s favourite swing group consisting of Martin McCafferty, Sean Wolf, Andrew Bourn and Joe Woolford – are playing at Quaglino’s this week, a roaring ’20s-themed, upscale European restaurant in Central London, and are excited to show their fans what they mean to them.

Andrew says: ‘It will be what people will know. It’s quite energetic. We’re four guys up on stage, it’s not staged, and it’s organic. Bit frantic at times, but we try to keep it as natural and real as possible.

‘We’ve got a few new songs in our set that people haven’t heard yet.’

Hugely inspired by the legendary Rat Pack, consisting of timeless singers Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. among others, Jack Pack believe their predecessors would be proud to hear that they brought swing back into the 21st century.

‘I think they would react with the usual reaction we normally get. A lot of the times when we perform in front of other singers they just say they want to get up on stage with us because of the way we are with each other and how much fun we have with each other. They probably would get up on stage with us, Jack Pack and the Rat Pack,’ Joe says.

Andrew continued: ‘That would be the dream, can you imagine?’

The two joked about getting an 11/10 ‘plain and simple’ if they were auditioning for the dearly loved Fly Me To The Moon singer, and they’re probably right with the hard work they put in.

Meanwhile, Jack Pack have been working on their new album for several months now but are keeping the name of the album and what it entails under wraps.

As they have no set release date, ‘Jack Packers’ will have to impatiently wait before they can listen to an eclectic mix of their brand new original songs and soothing swing.

If their style of singing usually isn’t for you, their energy on stage is undefeated and is enough to give them a try.

We can reveal there’s going to be a wonderful ballad called You’re Everything, ‘not to be confused with Michael Bubé’s song’, teased Andrew.

Jack Pack are playing Quaglino’s restaurant on 29 August.
