Britain’s Got Talent viewers convinced they’ve worked out how magicians 4MG do their tricks after they stunned judges with performance ahead of final

BRITAIN’S Got Talent viewers are convinced they’ve worked out how magicians 4MG tricked the judges last night.

The teenagers were sent straight through to the final after impressively bringing out talent show legends Stavros Flatley.

But some fans reckon they know how they managed to fool Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.

Throughout the act, the four boys gave each judge a task before correctly predicting the outcome.

David had to make up a five-letter word, Simon picked a numbered ball and Amanda and Alesha had to choose three worded cards from a pack.

Simon’s number was linked with a list written on one of the magician’s phones – and it led to dance duo Stavros Flatley arriving on stage after the act worked their magic.

That’s what made viewers suspicious about the trickery on stage.

They accused the magician of having a number of different lists with varying BGT stars numbered on his phone.

One viewer explained: “He had 6 lists on his phone & opened the one which placed Stavros in the dice position. The cards were probably bent so a cut would be forced etc.”

Another said: “4MG on #BGT was – again – ludicrously obvious in the way they pre-arranged and selected all the choices which the judges were supposedly making. The performers provided the three wordcards, and the list of 100 names (after Simon revealed the number 7).”

Someone else added: “#BGT 4MG rubbish magic 1) David wasn’t asked to cover up his word 2) Deck not all different.

“Only showed cards from top & bottom then cut in half. Middle of deck had repeats of same 3 cards. 3) Guy types number into his custom app which pops out a list with Stavros as that number.”

But it didn’t stop them from enjoying the spectacular act – and voting to send them through to Sunday night’s final.

One added: “Oh I’m so glad 4MG won! They’re so bloody cute #BGT.”

Another added: “4MG SMASHED ITTTT #BGT.”

  • Britain’s Got Talent’s live semi-finals continue tonight at 7.30pm.
