Britain’s Got Talent viewers have branded the latest episode as one of the worst ever, picking fault with a number of acts sent through to the next round.

The judges sent through six acts in the latest episode, including dancers Margaret and Dave, throat singer Jayson Stilwell and comedian Barbara Nice.

Many viewers were particularly baffled by Ursula, who managed to secure four yeses after straddling a harp singing Snow Patrol’s Chasing Cars. As you do.

The episode also saw Ant and Dec press their golden buzzer for 13-year-old Akshat Singh, who has previously gained notoriety on India’s Got Talent and The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

The Indian teenager, originally from Mumbai, performed a dance mash-up to a Bollywood track before kicking into Nicki Minaj’s Starships, with bicycle kicks and the splits while proclaiming ‘fat people can dance’.

Speaking about his performance, judge David Walliams said: ‘I wish I was 13 and watching you up there on the stage, you would have made me feel like I could achieve absolutely anything.’

Through the positive message, however, viewers weren’t happy with the judges’ verdicts on the acts overall.

Blimey.

If you were wondering, the rejected acts were comedian Steve Best and sound healing practitioner Eeshi-Ra-Hart who both landed four no’s.
