BRITAIN’S Got Talent comic Kojo Anim has reunited with his dad after nine years because he saw him on the show.

The star, who blew the judges away with his incredible talent last weekend, went into foster care when he was a toddler.

The Mirror revealed Kojo, who got the famous golden buzzer from Simon Cowell, had an emotional reunion with his estranged dad following his success on the show.

The funnyman, 39,who has toured with acts including Dave Chapelle, Chris Rock, and Kevin Hart, was put in foster care as a toddler after both parents were jailed.

But after his dad saw him on the ITV show, watched by eight million people, he got back in touch.

Kojo said: “Just got off the phone with my dad who I have not spoken to in nine years and all it took was for him to call and say he is proud of me and our relationship is now back on track.”

He added: “This is all bigger than comedy… it’s about peace of mind, happiness, love and family.”

Meanwhile the Sun Online revealed Kojo has been a friend of judge Alesha Dixon for a decade.

The BGT judge, 40, admitted she knew the stand-up star, saying: “I was not expecting to see you today.”

However, she kept schtum about the fact the pair have been tight for over nine years, regularly attending showbiz events together.

The pair cuddled up for paps at Nate Walka’s exclusive listening party at Molton House Cocktail Lounge back in 2010.

A source said: “This will raise eyebrows and lead to worries of favouritism.”

Kojo, who lives in London with his fiancee Tiffany, and their eight-month-old son Roman-Kingsley, had the audience on their feet with his act last night after spending the past 20 years crafting a comedy career.

Aged five he was put into foster care with his Aunt Sandra, but described the experience as a “blessing” that drove him on further to succeed.
