Britain’s Got Talent 2019 continues on ITV tonight (April 27) with its fourth round of auditions. A number of acts have already impressed the BGT judges and Ant and Dec with their talents and made it through to live shows. Here’s when the Britain’s Got Talent 2019 live shows begin and the audition stage comes to an end.

When are the Britain’s Got Talent 2019 live shows?

Britain’s Got Talent 2019 will enter its semi-final stage and air the first of the live shows on Monday, May 20.

ITV will broadcast the first live show and results in two separates instalments on the same evening.

The start times for the live shows is yet to be announced by ITV at the moment.

This means the final auditions will take place on Saturday, May 18.

ITV will, therefore, air seven weeks of live auditions before the BGT semi-finalists are announced.

BGT judges Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, David Walliams, and Simon Cowell will whittle down their favourite acts.

Each judge has the opportunity to use the Golden Buzzer and send one act straight through to the semis.

So far in the contest, the likes of comedian Kojo, dancer Akshat Singh, and the Flakefleet Children’s Choir have already been straight sent through to the live shows.

WHY WASN’T ANT ON BRITAIN’S GOT TALENT LAST YEAR?

Simon Cowell was left in stitches as stand-up comedian Kojo Anim impressed with his jokes.

Ant and Dec sent young dancer Akshat Singh through after he travelled all the way from Mumbai, India to show off his dance moves.

David Walliams wasted no time in using his Golden Buzzer opportunity.

In the very first episode of Britain’s Got Talent 2019 he sent Flakefleet Children’s Choir straight through to the live shows.

WHY ISN’T HOLLY WILLOUGHBY PRESENTING WITH DEC ON BGT?

When the live shows begin, there will be a number of ways for fans to watch each one unfold.

Each semi-final will be broadcast on ITV (Sky channel 103).

The ITV Hub will make every episode available to stream live online or watch on-demand.

Sky customers can also watch the BGT live shows via the Sky Go mobile and desktop apps.
