Britain’s Got Talent 2019: Viewers confused as Siobhan Phillips is REPLACED in live error

After Britain’s Got Talent viewers found out which two acts from last night’s semi-final made it through to Sunday’s showpiece final, one of the acts already through to the final was incorrectly named.

Colin Thackery and Kojo Anim were the two acts who made it through to the final following tonight’s ITV results show.

They will join Dave and Finn, 4MG, Flakefleet Primary School and Siobhan Phillips, who have all already made it past the semi-final stage.

However, when Colin and Kojo’s photos were added to a finalists’ list on the board behind them, fans spotted an error.

They spotted that that singer Siobhan had been replaced in the line-up by one of the unfortunate semi-finalists.

Instead, her place had been taken by fellow semi-finalist Matt Stirling in a bizarre twist.

Hosts Ant and Dec carried on unaware of the mistake and it was only eagle-eyed viewers that drew attention to it.

They took to Twitter to point out the mistake amid fears Siobhan had been dropped.

One fan said: “Loving this week of the #bgt semi finals. Am a bit confused why Siobhan Phillips isn’t in the finalists lineup after getting through last night?! Can anyone help with my confusion?!”

Another added: “How come the finalists board shown behind at the end of tonight’s show has Matt Stirling on it? Where is Siobhan Phillips? Is it a mistake or has Siobhan pulled out???”

A third fan ridiculed the show: “Massive fail tonight! Fancy showing Matt Stirling as a winner instead of Siobhan Phillips! Oops.”

Taking the mistake ever further, one fan asked: “So the finalists so far…. erm where is Siobhan Phillips??? Genuine error or fix?!”

Luckily for Siobhan’s fans, Simon Cowell announced on Britain’s Got More Talent the board was incorrect and Siobhan had not actually been replaced.

The error was not the only one in last night’s show, after fans spotted a mistake in one of the act’s performances.

It involved comedy magician John Archer and his lottery number trick on Ant and Dec.

The duo had to pick out lottery numbers from a random selection and the big reveal came as John produced a printed lottery ticket from his wallet which had the numbers printed on it, to the amazement of viewers.

However, as the camera zoomed in on the ticket, some thought a mistake had been made.

While one of the selected numbers had been 16, it appeared that only a six was on the ticket according to some viewers.

Meanwhile, fans were left uncomfortable as girl group Angels Inc were left unable to answer one of Simon’s questions.

The judges had to answer for them when he asked why the viewers should vote for them.

Britain’s Got Talent continues tomorrow at 7.30pm on ITV.
