Britain’s Got Talent 2019: 'There's no way' Viewers outraged by ‘lying’ skating duo

Britain’s Got Talent welcomed a skating duo to the stage last night and their performance wowed the auditorium.

Rosie, 21, and Adam, 38, revealed they had never skated in front of an audience before pulling off a number of thrilling lifts – including a headbanger.

Amazingly, the couple claimed that they had only been training together for three months before their audition on the ITV talent show.

Judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams were stunned by the action-packed routine and sent the duo through got the next round.

However, viewers could not believe that the skating duo had only been together for such a short period of time.

One said: “This is absolute b******t, there is no way that they have only been skating for 3 months and this is their first performance!! They’ve been doing this for years!! Do they honestly think we’re all that stupid?? #BGT #BritainsGotTalent”

A second wrote: “Did I hear right, they only met 3 months ago..? Hmmm. #bgt.”

Another tweeted: “Skating for 3 months? Lying b******s!”

“There’s no way those rollerbladers have only been together 3 months! #bgt,” said a fourth.

A fifth remarked: “#BGT SHE’S BEEN ROLLER BLADING FOR 3 MONTHS MY A**E!”

“I call B******T on 3 months. No way are they doing headbangers after 12 weeks. Why lie? #bgt,” tweeted another.

Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for Britain’s Got Talent to comment on these claims.

Later on in the show, Alesha Dixon sent an act through to semi finals using her Golden Buzzer opportunity.

Both the audience and the judges were amazed when 10-year-old Giorgia Borg took to the stage and sang a rendition of “10”, an original song she had penned.

The schoolgirl received a standing ovation from all four judges including Alesha, who remarked: “That’s how you do it!”

Simon began by saying that when he woke up this morning he knew today was going to be a “great day.”

“I have a son who is five and I listen to him, not the other way around. I learn a lot more from him than other people so I get it and it was amazing,” he continued.

Then it was time for David to give his comments but before he could finish Alesha hit the Golden Buzzer and joined Giorgia on stage to give her a hug.

She said: “You’re not even real, congratulations. It takes a lot to really move me and you floored me, absolutely floored me.

“Your vocal capability, you lyrical capability, you’re 10 years old, this is unbelievable, you’re a star. I love everything about you.”

Britain’s Got Talent continues Saturday on ITV at 8pm.
