Britain’s Got Talent 2019: ‘Messed up’ The Haunting blunder exposed by viewers

Britain’s Got Talent aired on ITV this evening, and it was the first of the live semi-finals.

The episode saw The Haunting star, Elizabeth, come onto the stage, and she ended up performing yet another terrifying act.

Once again, she took Amanda Holden backstage, and the judge ended up coming face-to-face with the ghost, Agatha.

However, towards the end of the act, there was a moment when the ghost swapped with the act’s presenter and fans spotted a blunder.

As Amanda was coming up the stairs to get back to the stage, she was being trailed by the ghost, and fans spotted the ghost and the show’s presenter swapping whilst they walked up the stairs.

Fans quickly took to Twitter to complain about the moment and reveal they’d spotted the swap.

One fan wrote: “Camera giveaway if you watch the haunted. Watch it back when Amanda Holden is led back from the spooky scene you can see the main haunted person swap over with the spook! Not so spooky now.”

Another said: “What are you watching? This was crap, and she messed up by popping her head out before swapping with the actress playing the ghost.”

“Bl**dy saw her hiding behind the stairs and do the swap from ghost to her, really a load of rubbish tonight,” added another viewer.

One more viewer commented: “Not great magic when the woman leading you up the stairs comes from a different staircase.”

Meanwhile, towards the end of the act, judge Amanda ended up swearing live on air.

As she was led back out in front of the audience, Amanda turned around expecting to see Agatha.

Instead of Agatha, it was Elizabeth, and it all proved to be too much for the judge who was taken by surprise and shouted “F**k!” before covering her mouth.

As Amanda took her place back on the judging panel, she was comforted by fellow judge Alesha Dixon.

Once recovered, the 48-year-old was quick to apologise to those tuning in at home for swearing before the watershed.

She mentioned she knew children were watching the talent show at home as she said “sorry”.

Many of those tuning into the first live show were quick to comment on the moment on Twitter, with many finding it hilarious.

“Amanda saying ‘F**k’ before watershed was brilliant #BGT xx,” one viewer wrote.

Another added: “@AmandaHolden swearing on BGT live has made my day.”

A third continued: “Nevermind the act, Amanda ‘F-Bombing’ on live-TV deserves a BAFTA in itself. #BGT.”

Britain’s Got Talent continues weeknights on ITV at 7.30pm.
