Dave branded Prime Minister Boris Johnson a racist as he paid an emotional tribute to the victims of Grenfell Tower and the London Bridge attacks as he took to the stage.

Performing powerful rap titled Black, the artist was joined by a pianist with the instrument bearing the faces of London Bridge victims, Jack Merritt and Saskia Jones, who died after being stabbed in the terror attack last November.

Calling out BoJo, he said: ‘It is racist even if it doesn’t feel racist, the truth is our Prime Minister is the real racist.’

He continued: ‘And if somebody hasn’t said it. Equality is a right, it doesn’t deserve credit.

‘If you don’t wanna get it, then you’re never gonna get it. How the news treats Kate [Middleton] versus how they’re treating Meghan [Markle].’

Billie performed the new Bond theme tune No Time To Die for the first time ever and it was epic.

Taking to the stage alongside her brother, Finneas, as well as legendary composer Hans Zimmer, Johnny Marr and a huge orchestra, the young singer had the whole room captivated by her stunning vocal talent.

Honestly, we could watch her performance on a loop like, forever.

Addressing the moment later on, she said: ‘I’ve felt very hated recently. When I was on the stage and I saw you guys all smiling at me… it genuinely made me want to cry and I want to cry now,’

One of our favourite moments from the entire evening was when Lizzo necked Harry Styles’ wine glass of tequila without batting an eyelid.

The two pals had been flirting for the cameras just before the Juice singer showed off her impressive chugging skills when Jack Whitehall helped himself to Harry’s beverage amid all the bottles of Red Stripe, Strongbow, wine and fizz – only to realise that it was filled with the spirit, neat.

‘Oh God, that’s tequila. That’s literally neat tequila. He’s gone off the rails,’ the host grimaced before passing the glass to Lizzo, who then happily chugged the drink.

The crowd went wild for the moment, but it was Harry who loved it the most and punched the hair with glee watching his bestie kill it.

Jack Whitehall’s perfect roasts

Comedian Jack Whitehall returned to present the ceremony for the third year running, and of course, no star was safe while in his presence.

During the show, he poked fun at a whole host of big names including Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Ronnie Wood and himself, and we really couldn’t get enough of his cheeky commentary throughout the night.

One stand out moment was when Jack introduced Niall Horan.

‘He was a member of one of the greatest bands of all time,’ he said. ‘Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Harry Styles. We are so honoured to have him here tonight. Ladies and gentleman, please welcome… the other one.’

One of the most poignant moments of the night was when Harry took to the stage.

The former One Direction star appeared to walk on water during his emotional performance of his track Falling, and was joined by two pianists for the beautiful moment.

Dressed in a white suit, completed with gloves and a pearl necklace, Harry teared up as he completed the heartbreaking ballad, which of course had audiences and fans in bits on social media. Not a dry eye in the room, cheers Hazza.

Lewis Capaldi cleared up a few misconceptions about his track Someone You Loved and who it was written about as he picked up a gong for song of the year

It was widely rumoured that the chart-topping love song was an ode to his failed relationship with Love Island star Paige Turley, but the singer revealed who it was really aimed at.

Speaking on stage, the Scottish jokester said: ‘Hello, hahaha. Hello. My name is Lewis, thanks very much for this. Contrary to popular belief, a lot of people think this song is about my ex-girlfriend who you can now see every night on Love Island.

‘But it is actually about my grandmother who sadly, sadly passed away a few years ago,’ he then said.

‘And I hope to God that ITV don’t contact her to be a on a reality dating TV show.’

Billie Eilish accidentally name-dropped Lizzo instead of saying London as she accepted the award for best female artist.

The 18-year-old was quick to thank the Good As Hell singer as she got up on stage, but then went on to mistakenly confuse the capital with the artist.

‘Lizzo has always felt like a second home to me,’ she said before cracking up over the error and laughing: ‘I just said your name!’

Ever the champ, Lizzo jumped up out of her seat and mouthed: ‘I love you!’

Two queens!

Tyler, The Creator made sure to hit back at Theresa May in his acceptance speech for international male solo artist and it was everything.

The rapper, 28, gave former British Prime Minister a special shout out after she banned him from the UK back in 2015 under anti-terrorism legislation.

Tyler told the crowds: ‘Uhh thank you guys. Uhh, yeah. Uhh shout out to all the British funk from the 80s that I try to copy.

‘Shout out Sony and Colombia for always having my back, thank you. Shout out to all the UK boys that keep this place fun for me at night.

‘And I wanna give a special shout out to someone who I hold dear to my heart, who made it where I couldn’t come to this country five years ago. I know she’s at home p**sed off. Thank you Theresa May.’

Jack Whitehall confusing Harry Styles’ sister for his girlfriend

Yep, this really happened.

As Jack sat down on Harry’s table, he asked: ‘I don’t want to pry… have you bought someone with you tonight?’

He then looked at a brunette sat on Harry’s right and persisted: ‘Are one of these ladies your date?’

‘That’s my sister,’ replied Harry, to which Jack said: ‘Oh God, so sorry! No, that’s great, keep it in the family… No! Not keep it in the family. I meant it’s nice to bring your family… I brought my mum! I brought my mum with me!’

Incredible.
