The Prime Minister wants to go to the polls on December 12 in a bid to break the Brexit deadlock. If there is a pre-Christmas general election, Mr Johnson would campaign on a promise to get his deal over the line.
Despite branding the Prime Minister’s agreement “not Brexit” and calling for a clean break from the EU, Mr Farage has suggested his party, which poses a major threat to the Tories, will not stand candidates in every seat.
The Brexit Party leader told Mail Online: “We will discuss that over the next couple of days.”
On the possibility of striking an election pact with the Tories, Mr Farage said: “I just don’t know but I think if he [Mr Johnson] is going to fight the general election on the basis of that treaty then I think as a Leaver it is very difficult.
“We will see what happens. I am not ruling anything in, not ruling anything out.
“But it would appear he wants to fight the election on the basis of that treaty which I just don’t think is Brexit. But that may change.”
It comes after Mr Farage hit out at Mr Johnson’s Brexit deal, which he finalised with the EU earlier this month, in a post on Twitter yesterday.

MPs backed his Early Parliamentary General Election Bill at second reading without a formal vote.
Commons Speaker John Bercow said it was clear an “overwhelming majority” of parliamentarians were in support of the legislation at second reading.
But MPs could seek to amend the Bill as it undergoes further scrutiny in the Commons this evening.
They may vote to move the election three days earlier to December 9 after Deputy Speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle selected a Labour amendment – which has Lib Dem support – seeking to change the date.
But the Government is opposed to the move and sees it as an attempt to scupper an election.
Meanwhile, Mr Farage responded to the news that 10 Tory rebels have had the whip restored by tweeting: “The Europhiles are back.”
Last month 21 MPs were kicked out of the party after rebelling over Brexit.
The Remainer MPs backed a plan to take control of the Commons timetable to pass legislation to block a no-deal Brexit.
The 10 Tory MPs who have had the whip restored are: Alistair Burt, Caroline Nokes, Greg Clark, Sir Nicholas Soames, Ed Vaizey, Margot James, Richard Benyon, Stephen Hammond, Steve Brine and Richard Harrington.
It comes as Mr Johnson is trying to win backing for an early general election.
