Panic! at the Disco frontman Brendon Urie has just dropped a collaborative track with Taylor Swift called ME!.

After a mystery countdown replaced Taylor’s website, we knew that we had to wait until 26 April until something – although we had no idea what – was going to happen.

That something turned out to be the release of ME!, an upbeat song which features the enduring emo-heart-throb Brendon.

In the wake of this monumental release, let’s take a closer look at Brendon, his personal life and his career so far…

Brendon and Panic! at the Disco

Brendon Boyd Urie, 32, was born in St. George, Utah but was raised on Las Vegas, Nevada, which was also where he met Brent Wilson – who would become the bassist for Panic! at the Disco – in high school.

Panic!’s first studio album, A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out, was released on 2005 and proved to be their big break. The lead single, I Write Sins Not Tragedies, helped the album his 1.8 million sales, and remains an absolute banger to this day.

Panic! at the Disco are still active, even with various departures over the years meaning that Brendon is now being the only member of the official lineup left, and have continued to enjoy success.

In 2014, Brendon won the Best Vocalist award at the Alternative Press Music Awards, and in 2016, Panic!’s fifth album became it’s first number one record, and now, Brendon has collaborated with Taylor Swift to write what is sure to be another smash hit.

As such, his estimated net worth of (according to Demotix) roughly $8million (£6.2 million), makes a lot of sense.

Who is Brendon Urie married to?

As for Brendon’s personal life, he married Sarah Orzechowski in 2013 after first meeting her in at one of his shows.

Sarah is the one that Brendon’s song Sarah Smiles from the album Vices & Virtues is about.

Maybe love isn’t dead after all!

Back in 2018, Brendon also came out publicly as pansexual.

He told Paper magazine: ‘I’m married to a woman and I’m very much in love with her but I’m not opposed to a man because to me, I like a person.’
