BREAKING Man Utd confirm they have agreed transfer deal to sign Bruno Fernandes


Manchester United have confirmed they have agreed to sign Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon.

In a statement, the Red Devils said: ” Manchester United is delighted to announce it has reached agreement with Sporting Clube de Portugal for the transfer of Bruno Fernandes.

“The deal is subject to a medical and the agreement of personal terms.

“A further announcement will be made in due course.”

Fernandes is set to put pen to paper on a four-and-a-half-year deal at Old Trafford as United finally seal a deal for their prime target of the January transfer window.

The club moved swiftly to tie up the move after late interest emerged from Barcelona.

United have confirmed a deal has been agreed for Fernandes

United could end up paying as much as £67.8million for the midfielder – if all clauses are met – including Champions League qualification, appearances and personal milestones.

They are set to fork out an initial £46.6million.

Fernandes could make his debut for his new club when United face Wolves at Old Trafford on Saturday evening in the Premier League.
