Leyton Orient manager Justin Edinburgh has been rushed to hospital with a sudden illness, the club have confirmed.
Edinburgh, 49, had travelled to Spain at the weekend where he was watching his beloved Tottenham in the Champions League final with friends.
It is believed that he had returned home before falling ill.
A statement on Twitter read: “Leyton Orient can confirm Head Coach Justin Edinburgh was taken to a local Hospital on Monday morning after being taken ill unexpectedly.
“The Club will be making no further comment at this time and requests that his family’s privacy is respected.”

Edinburgh lifted the National League title with Leyton Orient in April, guiding the Os back to the Football League after two seasons in non-league.
He was the toast of the town after ensuring his side pipped free-spending Salford City to the title.
Edinburgh took over the club in 2017 after spells in charge of Newport County, Gillingham and Northampton Town among others.
Well wishes have been streaming in for Edinburgh with Tottenham among those sending their support. on Twitter.
He played for Spurs over 200 times between 1990 and 2000.
Spurs wrote: “Everybody at the Club sends their best wishes to our former defender Justin Edinburgh after he was taken ill earlier this morning.”
