FUT 20 FUTMAS is officially underway as the first set of players have been released into Ultimate Team on the first of 12 Days of FUTMAS.

This first release features all 55 TOTY nominees available in packs, along with two player SBCs, one Objective Player and two new kits.

NOW WATCH BELOW: EVERYTHING you need to know about FUTMAS this Christmas!

Here is a rundown of the players in this first release.

TOTY Nominees – Goalies

Jan Oblak leads the way at 92 OVR and will be a fortress for anyone sporting La Liga teams. However, even if you don’t get him, Ter Stegen at 91 OVR, Alisson at 90 OVR and Ederson at 89 OVR make this a stacked group of shot stoppers.

TOTY Nominees – Defenders

There are 18 defenders available in packs as TOTY nominees and between them give you many options for various lineups.

Unsurprisingly, 91 OVR Virgil Van Dijk headlines the group. The Liverpool captian had an incredible season, and with 78 pace, 87 physicality and 91 defending, he is a monster.

TOTY Nominees – Midfielders

This group of 16 midfielders is absolutely stacked. From 84 OVR Jordan Henderson, all the way up to 92 OVR Kevin De Bruyne, there are a host of options for a number of countries and the big four leagues.

TOTY Nominees – Attackers

The attackers are the cream of the crop. Nine of the 16 players are rated 90 or higher, and the lowest is an 87 OVR Roberto Firmino. If you pack any of these players you have the right to go crazy as you’ll be able to tear apart any opponent with any one of these cards.

If nothing else, the pace available on these cards is out of this world.

Player SBC – Axel Witsel

As far as Bundesliga CDMs go, this Witsel card covers all of the bases. With 81 passing, 83 dribbling, 84 defending and 83 physicality, Witsel can sit in front of your defence and pull the strings while snuffing out any danger.

Player SBC – Moses Simon

Want pace? Come and get it. FC Nantes’ Simon has it in spades. 95 pace and 87 dribbling, added to 81 shooting, make Simon an absolute menace. He strikes me as a great super sub for any lineup, or a difference maker on Ligue 1 teams.

Objective Player – Jean-Philippe Gbamin

The Premier League is pretty stacked with elite CDMs at the moment, with the likes of N’Golo Kante, Fabinho, and Fernandinho, but Gbamin is rising for Everton. The Toffees CDM boasts 86 physicality and 83 pace to go with his 83 defending. He may not be a first choice player for many Premier League teams, but he can certainly be impactful.

The next group of player SBCs and Objective Players will become available at 6pm GMT tomorrow, and every day until Christmas.
