Braga vs Rangers predicted line-ups: Team news ahead of Europa League match today

Rangers need to win in Portugal this afternoon if they are to reach the last 16 of the Europa League.

The Scottish Premiership side trailed 2-0 to Braga in the first leg of their round of 32 clash and were seemingly heading out of the tournament.

But Ianis Hagi hit a fine double either side of Joe Aribo’s superb solo goal to at least give the Scottish Premiership side hope.

Braga’s 3-2 victory means Rangers will need to score at least two goals to progress.

Here is what you need to know.

When is it?

The game is today: Wednesday 26 February.

The Europa League match is taking place on a Wednesday because nearby FC Porto are at home at the Estadio do Dragao on Thursday evening in their own European clash with Bayer Leverkusen.

And so Braga’s fixture has been moved to avoid any potential clash between the rival supporters.

What time is it?

The match gets underway at 5pm GMT.

What TV channel is it on?

The game is live on BT Sport 3, with coverage beginning at 4.30pm.

What is the team news?

Borna Barisic has shaken off a back injury and is available for selection.

Alfredo Morelos is banned, but Ryan Jack is available again and Florian Kamberi could feature.

What are the odds?

  • Braga to qualify: 4/5
  • Rangers to qualify: 10/11

What is our prediction?

Rangers to move into a two goal lead only for Braga to score late on.
