Bradley Cooper got up bright and early to head down to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade with his pals and he seemed pretty chuffed to get front row seats.

Having split from girlfriend Irina Shayk this summer, the Star Is Born actor spent the first part of his Thanksgiving Day on Thursday with a group of friends including Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his husband Justin Mikita.

While the rest of the country watched the annual parade at home with the turkey in the oven, Bradley hopped over to the The Dakota on Manhattan’s Upper West Side in New York City, to watch the colourful festivities from the landmark residential apartment building.

Bradley, 44, was spotted lapping up the attention from fans who noticed him standing on the balcony from ground level, as he was seen waving to his adoring supporters.

In an Instagram story video snapped by a friend, Bradley looks to be in good spirits while watching the large parade pass through the street below.

Bradley had the pleasure of watching the likes of Black Eyed Peas, Ciara Ashanti, Tyler Crews, Idina Menzel and Lea Michele perform and make appearances. It was a particularly momentous day for boy band NCT 127 who became the first K-Pop group to perform at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade.

After taking in the parade with friends, it’s not known if Bradley was able to spend time with his daughter Lea de Seine, two, whom he shares with Irina.

The Oscar-nominated actor appears to have amicably co-parented Lea with Irina, 33, since their break-up in June. The former couple came to an agreement over Lea which sees them share joint custody of the toddler, but both parents have to remain in New York City.

There was reportedly a point of contention in that Bradley wanted to move to Los Angeles for work, but Irina wanted to remain in NYC.

Bradley has developed the cutest bond with Lea and was seen taking the youngster as his date to a black-tie event in October.

Little Lea looked excited to join her father for a night out at the annual Mark Twain Prize so it’s safe to say she’ll be joining him again soon enough.
