Bradley Cooper was every inch the doting father as he took his two-year-old daughter Lea to her first black-tie event this week.

That’s right, baby’s first black-tie.

The 44-year-old actor looked proud as punch as he took little Lea De Siene, his daughter with ex Irina Shayk, as his date to the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts to watch the 22nd Annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor be presented to Dave Chappelle on Sunday.

A Star Is Born actor Bradley was looking suited and booted in a smart blazered ensemble while his adorable daughter followed his film lead and donned a starry outfit.

Seems another star is born, right?

Bradley cradled his daughter in her first public appearance, with the doting parent and his former partner often opting to keep the little one out of the spotlight up until now.

Heading to the event, the pair held hands as they walked along the street, with little Lea keeping warm in a puffer vest.

Inside the televised ceremony, Lea sat on her dad’s lap as they looked on at the proceedings with interest.

Bradley and Irina recently came to a custody agreement over little Lea, after they split earlier this year.

They reportedly had an amicable break-up, following a four-year relationship, but working out an arrangement on their only child was a little more complicated.

It was claimed model Irina, 33, was keen to stay in New York, while the actor wanted to move to LA for work.

Irina and Bradley bought a house together in New York last October, and also have a home in Pacific Palisades in LA.

According to TMZ, they managed to work things out and decided to both stay in the big apple, sharing custody.

They called time on their relationship back in June, and have both been linked to a string of faces ever since – and an insider revealed both Bradley and Irina are open to dating.

‘They want to date, and won’t be shy about meeting people or being set up,’ the source told Us Weekly.

‘They’re closing a long chapter of their lives, but they’re ready to see what’s next.’

Another suggested the model is ‘taking time to heal’ after their relationship broke down.

Fair enough!

The Russian star recently opened up about how motherhood had changed her – although was adamant it wouldn’t change her style.

Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar in July, Irina said: ‘You have to be really truly yourself for your kids, otherwise you’re living in a lie.

‘Tell me one reason why, just because you’re a mother, you need to wear a longer skirt. No! I don’t believe in that. I really don’t. How is it that people think of this idea? Why should you have to change who you are and how you feel just because you become a mother? I’m like, tell me why. Tell me one reason! I don’t believe in that. I don’t understand why.’
