Brad Pitt, Mel B, Juliette Binoche, Sofia Richie and model Martha Hunt are among the celebrities who have arrived in Venice ahead of the 2019 Venice Film Festival.

Spice Girls star Mel arrived at the Lido on Wednesday by taxi boat, wearing a linen dress with yellow highlights around the hem and white strappy heels, and she waved to fans – and the photographers – as she stepped off the boat.

Brad’s new sci-fi drama Ad Astra will premiere at the festival on Thursday but he was pictured stepping off a boat and on to the Lido on Wednesday, also by boat, in a casual khaki T-shirt and a flat cap.

The actor, 55, was joined by a female friend as they made their grand entrance on the Grand Canal for the 76th Festival.
