The Lady Killers documentary will focus on the case of
Sabrina Kouider, the former girlfriend of Boyzone founder Mark Walton, who
brutally killed her French au pair, Sophie Lionnet in 2017.
Sabrina and her accomplice, Ouissem Medouni, made headlines after
the shocking news emerged that they had murdered Sophie and attempted to burn
her body in the garden of the £900,000 house they were living in in South West
London.
The case will be featured as part of Quest Red’s The Lady
Killers documentary series, and the film reveals that Sabrina and Ouissem had sex
just feet away from Sophie’s corpse to ‘mark the occasion’ after killing her.
Sophie had been drowned in the bath after Sabrina became
convinced she was having an affair with her ex, Mark Walton, despite the pair
never having actually met.
The couple then tried to get rid of her body by burning it
in the garden and cooking a barbeque to ‘mask the smell’.
Sophie, 20, had come over to the UK from France to work and
learn English, and took a job as an au pair for Sabrina, who had two children.
She was forced to work over 80 hours a week and was underpaid,
and soon became the target of Sabrina’s delusions that she was having an affair
with her ex, Mark, and that Sophie and her ex were teaming up to abuse Sabrina’s
children.
‘Sabrina became convinced that Sophie was having a
relationship Mark Walton, Sabrina’s ex-boyfriend, when in fact they’d never even
met,’ says former Detective Clare Mackintosh.
‘The delusions that Sabrina had in relation to Sophie and
her ex-boyfriend Mark Walton were truly extraordinary, there was absolutely no
basis in fact.’
Over the course of 12 months, Sabrina’s delusions worsened,
and Sophie was subjected to abuse in various ways.
Former Detective Peter Bleksley revealed: ‘She wasn’t paid,
and she was forbidden from communicating with the outside world.’
She was also given little to no food and forbidden from leaving
the house, with Sabrina also taking away her passport so she couldn’t leave the
country.
Peter added: ‘Sabrina interrogated her, putting false
accusations to her, and eight hours of these interviews were recorded.’
The interrogation lasted over 12 days, during which time
Sabrina screamed and swore at Sophie, and even waterboarded her to force her to
confess to the non-existent affair.
The ordeal culminated with Sophie being put in a bathtub and
drowned, before Sabrina and Ouissem having sex near to her dead body.
The pair attempted to burn her body in the garden, trying to
use a barbeque to mask the smell, but the amounts of smoke and the odour led to
neighbours calling the police.
Sabrina and Ouissem were arrested and sentenced to life in
prison for the murder.
The Lady Killers airs at 10pm on Thursdays exclusively on Quest Red and dplay.
