Amir Khan has confirmed the birth of his first son, Muhammad Zaviyar Khan, as wife Faryal Makhdoom gave birth.
The couple already share two daughters, four-year-old Lamaisah and 21-month-old Alayna Khan, and now have a baby boy in the family too.
Amir shared the news on Instagram, posting a photo of him with the newborn, telling his followers: ‘My beautiful Son Muhammad Zaviyar Khan was born today 22/02/20 weighing 7lbs 12oz. #dadofthree #alhumdulilah #blessed’.
The couple had confirmed they were expecting their third child in August 2019, sharing the news with a gender reveal video.
Amir and Faryal were seen popping a large helium balloon which showered them in blue confetti, confirming they were expecting a boy.
Faryal had told her followers: ‘We’re having our third child, and we’re so excited and nervous at the same time. He or she, what will baby Khan be?’
Kitted out with a boxing glove, 32-year-old Amir continued: ‘I’m going to punch the balloon to see what the gender is,’ before popping the balloon with a punch.
Right on cue, blue confetti came pouring out, with the I’m A Celebrity star celebrating: ‘Oh wow, it’s a boy! It’s a boy!’
