Bowling For Soup and Alexa Bliss video release as band unveil epic WWE crossover single

Bowling For Soup and Alexa Bliss have teamed up for an epic WWE crossover video based on the former women’s champion.

The SmackDown superstar has long been a huge fan of the Girl All The Bad Guys Want band, and their worlds have finally collided for a brand new single.

The video for the aptly-titled Alexa Bliss was released into the world on Friday, and fans off both BFS and WWE will be absolutely delighted by the results as the five-time women’s champ takes a starring role in the promo.

With the song itself referencing her in-ring career, character and even her pet pig Larry-Steve, Bliss will no doubt be overjoyed as her favourite group pay such a sweet and hilarious tribute in their own unique style.

Bowling For Soup x Alexa Bliss is the collaboration we never knew we needed

Power chords and pro wrestling references are the order of the day, as BFS do what they do best – and we love it.

‘Why can’t every girl be more like Alexa Bliss,’ Jaret Reddick belts out in the chorus (and we’re already singing along). ‘How does a chick on TV make me feel like this?

‘She’s got a finishing move called Twisted Bliss and it’s like my heart is caught in a sleeper hold. Why can’t every girl be more like Alexa Bliss?’

Alexa herself said: ‘This song is amazing 🙂 filming the video was such a great time I had a blast. It’s definitely a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity when your favourite band in the world makes a song about you. And Jaret is always so fun to work with and be around :-)’

Jaret added: ‘Meeting Alexa Bliss was insane! Here is the freakin’ WWE Women’s champ, and she likes our band! I’ll admit, I checked her socials after we met the first time and saw that she had worn our shirt in a photo, and tweeted about listening to us in class while still in Ohio haha…

‘We became fast friends. She has been such a pleasure to get to know and has been so awesome to me and my family…why WOULDN’T I write a song about her?!? Five feet of amazing!!!’

BFS fans in the UK might even get to hear the new track live when the pop punk legends hit the road next week for a run of shows with Simple Plan and Not Ur Girlfrenz.
