Bournemouth 0-0 Tottenham LIVE score: Son Heung-min is SENT OFF after heated push

Ake has gone down and receives some treatment on the halfway line. A chance for Tottenham to regroup, perhaps.

RED CARD! Substitute Foyth has barely been on the field and, after a heavy touch, he slides in with his studs up into Simpson’s knee! Another rush of blood to the head sees Spurs down to nine men at the start of the second half!

We’re off again for the second half!

Foyth comes on for Alderweireld at centre-back in the second change.

Pochettino makes a double-change at half-time, with the reckless Dier being replaced by Wanyama in the first substitution.

Pochettino will have to calm his side down at the break. Their aggression levels have bubbled over and Dier in particular looks to be out of control. Son’s sending-off has changed the complexion of the game, and Spurs face an uphill battle to secure their top-four spot today.

And breathe! What a first half! Debutant Bournemouth goalkeeper Travers – having almost been lobbed early on – has produced a string of fine saves to keep Tottenham out, and Son was sent off late in the half for a shove on Lerma. It’s been an end-to-end affair and Spurs are lucky not to be down to nine men, with Dier – already on a yellow – producing two further challenges worthy of a booking, one of which was in the penalty area! Somehow, it’s still 0-0 at the break.

HALF-TIME: BOURNEMOUTH 0-0 TOTTENHAM

SAVE! Ake’s header is blocked and goes out for a corner, and Simpson meets the second delivery well, but it’s held well by Lloris in the centre of the goal!

MISS! Wilson meets Fraser’s cross in the box but can only loop his header high over the bar! Bournemouth have a real opportunity now.

NO PENALTY! Wilson goes down in the box and Dier, in trying to clear the ball as an attack came down the left, kicks through the back of the Cherries striker’s legs! However, the referee doesn’t spot it and waves play on! Dier is lucky not to have conceded a penalty and be sent off!

RED CARD! Son is off! Fraser fouls him but Lerma comes in late after the whistle has gone and tries to nick the ball. He’s furious and shoves the Bournemouth midfielder to the ground, and is shown a straight red card! Spurs down to 10 men!

SAVES! Bournemouth whip a fierce cross into the middle of a crowded box that King meets, but Lloris dives bravely to hold on. At the other end, Eriksen tests Travers with a low, left-footed effort, but the Bournemouth keeper collects it comfortably.

Ake chests the ball cleverly past Sissoko and the midfielder drags him back in midfield, picking up the third yellow card of the game.

NO PENALTY! Alderweireld misjudges a ball over the top and King latches onto it. He pokes the ball past the onrushing Lloris and clatters into him before going down. The Vitality bellow for a spot-kick but the referee shakes his head.

NO RED CARD! Dier goes diving into another challenge and gets none of the ball. Bournemouth want to see a second yellow card for the midfielder, however, the referee deems it a fair challenge and Spurs play on, with Son whipping a cross towards Alli at the back post, but he’s crowded out and has to play it back for Eriksen and Lucas, whose speculative efforts are blocked.

SAVE! WHAT A SAVE! Travers continues to impress on his debut as Rose picks out Alli in the box with a sumptuous cross, but the midfielder’s powerful header just under the bar is tipped over by a diving Travers! Outstanding save!

MISS! Son drives into the box as Spurs counter down the left and works a yard of space cleverly, but blazes over the bar on his left!

BLOCK! Eriksen then has an effort from outside the box after receiving the ball from Rose, but it’s blocked away. Tottenham starting to ramp up the pressure now.

Son drives down the right and drifts into the box past a defender. However, he takes one touch too many and is forced backwards. He tries to square it across the edge of the box but Fraser puts in an important sliding challenge to clear the danger.

SAVE! Another great stop from Travers! Lucas finds himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper on the left after timing his run, but the teenager stays big and keeps out what looked to be a certain goal!

BLOCK! Fraser whips the free-kick into the middle and Wilson meets it with his head but it’s blocked away and Spurs break. Travers then comes off his line bravely to the edge of his box and heads clear!

Spurs have set up camp on the edge of the Bournemouth area and are passing it around sharply. There’s no penetration as yet, however, and the Cherries keep their shape well.

The move breaks down on the edge of the Bournemouth box and King charges down the left to lead a counter-attack. Alderweireld gets across and chops King down, earning himself a yellow card.

SAVE! Great save from Travers! Sissoko plays a splitting, first-time ball behind Simpson and into Lucas, who takes it well and bears down on goal. His strike is fierce and high but a little central, and the teenager does well to tip it over the bar!

Cook appears to be struggling with an injury. He’s playing on at the moment but doesn’t look to be moving freely. That’s a concern for Bournemouth.

SAVE! Alli produces a lovely turn to evade two Bournemouth defenders and thumps an effort at goal, but Travers gets across well to keep it out!
