She and Boris will have dinner at the Her Majesty’s Scottish castle retreat this evening.

The PM was forced to scrap the traditional three-day visit with the Queen to handle the Brexit crisis instead.

HERE’S CARRIE

Buckingham Palace officials were “very understanding” about the change of plans because of the ongoing Westminster turmoil, a No10 source revealed.

But Boris is now only expected to have dinner with the 93 year-old monarch on Friday night.

He will then rush back to Downing Street on Saturday morning after staying the night.

The Aberdeenshire trip was to be Johnson’s first long stay with the Queen since taking office in July.

ELECTION TRAIL

Boris’ Scottish visit is the first stop on the election campaign trail – with the PM visiting a fish market in Peterhead this morning.
Peterhead has a strong fishing community, which has been heavily effected by EU laws.

Despite an exhausting week in Westminster, Bo-Jo was also seen wrestling with a feisty bull when visiting a farm in Abderdeenshire.

Boris has made repeated calls for an election and announced a policy blitz last month to entice voters.

He pledged to recruit 20,000 cops, plunge £1.8bn into hospitals and create 10,000 new prison places.

In a scathing attacking Corbyn in the Commons this week – he accused the Labour boss of being a “chicken”.

Boris added that he was the first leader of the opposition to show “confidence in her majesty’s government” by refusing to stage a vote.

His plot comes after Labour’s own MPs warned they would lose the vote if it came any sooner – with the Tories firmly topping opinion polls.

The Conservatives took another dig at Corbyn today when they mocked up a fried chicken advert with the Labour boss in a fluffy suit.

Above a slogan that said “JFC Totally Spineless Chicken”, the party tweeted “Hey KFC, we’ve found an even bigger chicken than you.”
