Boris Johnson wife: Who is Boris in a relationship with after separating from his wife?

Front-runner for the UK’s top job Boris Johnson, 54, is seeking a divorce from his estranged wife Marina Wheeler. The couple, who have four children together, announced their divorce in September 2018 in a joint personal statement, saying: “Several months ago, after 25 years of marriage, we decided it was in our best interests to separate. We have subsequently agreed to divorce and that process is under way. As friends we will continue to support our four children in the years ahead. We will not be commenting further.”

The MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip is reportedly keen on moving his divorce forward sooner rather than later.

According to the Mirror, Mr Johnson is seeking a speedy divorce within the next six weeks.

The sudden hurry is said to be because the Prime Minister hopeful is planning to move into Downing Street with his new girlfriend if he wins the Tory leadership contest.

Mr Johnson is currently in a relationship with ex-Tory aide Carrie Symonds, 31.

Who is Carrie Symonds, Boris Johnson’s girlfriend?

Carrie Symonds, is a fellow Conservative supporter and ranked the second most powerful public relations operator in Britain.

Ms Symonds commands a handsome salary from an international eco-charity and lives in a £1million south London apartment.

At 31-years-old, Ms Symonds is more than 20 years junior to her new boyfriend Boris.

Despite the age gap, the couple are viewed by some as the dynamic duo of Tory politics.

The 31-year-old is also said to be quite influential and have several Cabinet ministers on speed dial.

And it’s not only Ms Symonds who is well-connected, her father Matthew Symonds was co-founder of The Independent newspaper and her mother Josephine Mcaffee a successful media lawyer.

If Mr Johnson is elected by his fellow Tories as the next Conservative leader and gets handed the keys to No. 10, the two would surely go by the definition of a power couple.
