A man has been arrested for allegedly hiding cameras in women’s bathrooms on the set of Bond 25.

Peter Hartley, 49, was charged with voyeurism on Saturday morning after police were alerted to a ‘spy camera’ at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire earlier this week.

He was due to appear at Milton Keynes’ Magistrates Court at the weekend.

Pinewood Studios, where the next James Bond film is currently in production, told The Independent they were taking the incident ‘very seriously’ and supporting the police investigation.

Metro.co.uk has approached Pinewood Studios for further comment.

The next Bond film stars Ana de Armas, Lashana Lynch, Dali Benssalah, Léa Seydoux, Ana de Armas, Naomie Harris, Billy Magnussen and David Dencik, alongside Daniel Craig.

It’s been just three weeks since Pinewood was under investigation by Health And Safety when a stunt for Bond 25 went disastrously wrong.

The set was reportedly visited by workplace inspectors investigating a controlled explosion that blew the side of the 007 Stage off at the start of June.

A member of staff on the ramp outside was injured by falling debris and production on Bond 25 was put on ‘total lockdown’ as a result.

It’s the latest in a string of bad luck to befall the forthcoming Bond 25 film.

So far, filming has been pushed back a number of times, most notably when Bond actor Daniel slipped and injured his ankle on the set in Jamaica last month.

Production stopped altogether while the 51-year-old was flown to the US for x-rays, followed by emergency surgery, only two weeks after filming commenced for Craig’s supposed final outing.

Craig was in prime physical shape for his Bond comeback, so understandably the whole thing left him fuming.

So far, it’s meant that he’s failed to film any scenes with new Bond baddie, Rami Malek, because their schedules no longer align.

Filming was initially set to begin last December but the schedule was plighted by the departure of director Danny Boyle.

By the time US director Cary Fukunaga came on board, the January 2019 cut off for filming had been missed and the decision was made to push the release date back to 2020.

Even after the cast gathered to announce the start of the project in April, it was alleged that the film still had no finalised script or even a title in place.

This time around, systems in the production of James Bond have reportedly been reviewed and updated in line with the ‘Me Too movement’.

An ‘intimacy coach’ had allegedly been brought in to make sure ‘all the stars were getting the support they needed’ on set, including with ‘risqué sex scenes.’

Fleabag creator and star Phoebe Waller-Bridge has also reportedly been drafted in to ‘polish and makeover’ the script to usher in the new era of filmmaking.

Bond 25 will be released in April 2020.
