B&M’s gin and tonic advent calendar with 12 drinks is back

BRING on December because B&M has brought back its gin advent calendar with 12 different bottles of booze.

In an upgrade from last year’s popular version, it now also comes with one tonic bottle for each spirit so you can celebrate with a G&T in the run-up to the big day.

Priced at £34.99 – an extra fiver since last year – the calendar includes popular gin brands such as Bombay Sapphire, Gordon’s and Tanqueray.

The mini bottles contain 50ml each, meaning they’re twice the size of a shot and should mix nicely with the 125ml bottles of Franklin & Sons tonic.

Just be aware that the calendar isn’t the cheapest way to get your G&T fix.

We looked at the cheapest price on all standard-size bottles in the calendar including the tonic, and worked out that the cost for each G&T would amount to roughly £23.77 in total.

Although, you’d obviously pay more to buy large bottles of all the gins – a 700ml bottle of the gins included in the calendar will set you back between £13.99 and £22 each.

So the calendar could be a low-cost way for you to explore gin-tastic tastes before picking your favourite.

Wholesaler Costco has also just rolled out a gin advent calendar for a pricier £44.99.

This doesn’t include any tonic, but it comes with 24 mini bottles of our favourite booze.
