B&M says the Addis airer has 12 metres of drying space so you can dry a load of washing in one go.

It runs by electric so you’ll need to have it plugged into the mains.

The cheap deal was posted on the B&M Bargains and More Facebook group where shoppers have been desperate to find which stores still have one in stock.

One shopper said: “Omg I need this!”

While another replied: “£1 no way! Need to get it.”

On its website, B&M says supply of the £1 airer is limited so we’d suggest calling your local store ahead of making the journey.

Sadly, you can’t order any products from the B&M website.

The retailer’s website doesn’t say how long it takes for the airer to get your clothes dry, so we’ve asked them for more information.

This airer will be cheaper than running a tumble dryer, but it’ll still add extra costs to your energy bills.
