Blue Ivy steals the show in New Year photos with Beyoncé and Megan Thee Stallion

Blue Ivy, seven, upstaged her mum Beyoncé and rapper Megan Thee Stallion in a New Year’s photo booth picture.

On Wednesday, the Hot Girl Summer rapper, 24, shared a series of Instagram photos from Beyoncé’s party which sent social media into a frenzy.

Megan, who wore brown monogrammed Louis Vuitton pajamas for the occasion, captioned the image: “Happy 2020 @beyonce.”

The image sparked speculation that the two musicians, who both hail from Houston, Texas, may collaborate for the first time.

Megan is known for coining the phrase “Hot Girl Summer,” which became a trend on social media and then prompted the star to follow up with a song of the same title.

Her mixtape Fever, which was released in May, was critically acclaimed and became one of the most talked about releases of the year in hip-hop.

Before attending the event, Megan performed on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin Eve in Hollywood.

Beyoncé, 38, also mother to twins Rumi and Sir, aged two, with rapper Jay-Z, has recently spoken about how motherhood has changed her, saying she now feels more secure with her body.

She told Elle magazine: “If someone told me 15 years ago that my body would go through so many changes and fluctuations, and that I would feel more womanly and secure with my curves, I would not have believed them.

“But children and maturity have taught me to value myself beyond my physical appearance and really understand that I am more than enough, no matter what stage I’m at in life.”

In the interview, in which she answered questions from fans, she also revealed how going through miscarriages had changed her outlook on life. She said: “Success looks different to me now. I learned that all pain and loss is, in fact, a gift. Having miscarriages taught me that I had to mother myself before I could be a mother to someone else.”
