Blink-182, Coheed and Cambria playing Summerfest in Milwaukee

Blink-182 is coming back to Summerfest June 28, headlining the American Family Insurance Amphitheater with three opening acts.

Coheed and Cambria, The Used and Grandson will join the seminal pop punk band — featuring longtime members Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker, and Tom DeLonge’s replacement Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio. That version of Blink headlined Summerfest’s amphitheater in 2016. Last year, Blink released its ninth studio album, “Nine.”

Tickets go on sale at noon Feb. 28 at the Maier Festival Park south gate box office and ticketmaster.com. Prices have yet to be announced, but tickets will include Summerfest general admission June 28.

Summerfest has lined up eight other shows for the 23,000-capacity amphitheater, reopening in June following a $53 million upgrade.

They include: Justin Bieber with Kehlani and Jaden Smith opening night (June 24); Luke Bryan with Morgan Wallen (June 25); Sam Hunt with Kip Moore, Travis Denning, Ernest and Brandi Cyrus (June 26); Khalid with Jessie Reyez (June 27); Chris Stapleton with Sheryl Crow (June 30); Dave Matthews Band (July 2); Halsey with Chvrches and Omar Apollo (July 3); and Guns N’ Roses (July 4).

On Monday, Ozzy Osbourne canceled his summer tour for the second year in a row, including a planned Summerfest show at the amphitheater, for health reasons.
