Blake Shelton reveals why he thinks twice about covering Celine Dion songs on The Voice


BLAKE Shelton may be one of the most successful singers on the planet.

But he revealed why he doesn’t cover songs by Celine Dion on Tuesday’s The Voice.

 "That's why I don't do Celine Dion," Blake Shelton told his fellow judges, "Is that Blake...or is that Celine Dion?"

The 43-year-old singer joked that he gets mistaken for the Canadian superstar, as the knockout rounds of the show continued.

“That’s why I don’t do Celine Dion,” he told his fellow judges, “Is that Blake…or is that Celine Dion?”

Kelly Clarkson begged the country star to “pleaaaase” do a video of the star’s Titanic hit, My Heart Will Go On.

John Legend joined in to mime the famous flying scene from the classic movie starring Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Blake continued the joke onto Twitter, photoshopping Legend’s face onto Winslet’s, and his own over Leo’s.

“This one’s for you,” he wrote, tweeting Kelly Clarkson.

“Is that Blake or Celine?” laughed another fan.

While another begged: “Blake please sing a Celine song we can’t wait.”
