BLACKPINK are continuing to grow in popularity and are heading on a world tour later this month, and now the group has been featured on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia List.
It features young talent from 23 countries and territories around Asia and includes several categories including the arts, retail & eCommerce, social entrepreneurs, and enterprise technology.
BLACKPINK were included in the Entertainment & Sports category alongside 29 other artists and athletes including Tennis star Naomi Osaka, actor Liu Haoran and musician Peggy Gou.
There were more than 2,000 entries and the final line-up was decided by three judges – entrepreneur Michael Xufu Huang, fashion designer Nicole Warne and chef entrepreneur Janice Wong.
The K-Pop group has only been around for about three years but they have already established themselves as global superstars.
Since seeing their hit single Ddu-Du Ddu-Du enter the charts in Korea, US and other parts of the world, their fan-base has exploded.
The group will be touring around the US in April and May this year, as well as performing across Europe in countries such as France, Spain and the UK.
They are also scheduled to appear at Coachella Festival later this month alongside many other established artists including Ariana Grande and Childish Gambino.
BLACKPINK’s newest album Kill This Love will be released on Friday 5 April, with five new songs for fans to listen to.
The EP will also include their newest single Kill This Love, which the group recorded a music video for last month.
