BLACKPINK are having a big moment right now after their surprise interview with Scott Mills this afternoon, and BBC Radio 1 playing their brand new single Kill This Love.
The K-pop stars had the honour of having their latest record-breaking single play during Scott’s drivetime show on Monday afternoon, but that wasn’t the only surprise.
Lisa, Rose, Jennie and Jisoo actually spoke to Scott for a very quick interview during their break from a Vogue photo shoot in their native South Korea – seriously, the girls are killing it right now.
During the brief chat, BLACKPINK said of their snowballing success: ‘It shocks us everyday so we’re very thankful and grateful for our fans and viewers.’
They also promised to stop by Scott’s Radio 1 show when the arrive in the UK next month on their world tour.
It’s in our diaries already.
Of course, BLINKs everywhere were thrilled with Radio 1 shining the spotlight on BLACKPINK, with one proudly tweeting: ‘THE REAL DEFINITION OF QUEENS,’ while another said: ‘Thank you so much! I’m beyond proud of my girls.’
