Black Panther’s Angela Bassett has admitted she’s not seen Avengers: Endgame yet – because it’s just too long.

It’s a valid point.

The star, who plays T’Challa’s mother Ramonda in the MCU, might just be the only person in the world not to have seen the flick which is now the highest grossing movie of all time, after being shocked by the run time.

If anything, it’s kind of impressive.

‘It’s three hours long, right?’ she joked. ‘I haven’t seen it. Wait a minute, it is going to be on the plane. Oh my god, carve out three hours?’

We feel you.

However, the 60-year-old hasn’t been left completely in the dark, as she has two teenage sons to fill her in on the ‘general gist’ of it all.

‘They’ve seen it twice,’ Bassett pointed out to EW Live. ‘I’m like, ‘Y’all have fun. I’m just gonna relax and chill at home, thanks. Tell me all about it.’

‘They tell me, “You always fall asleep in the movies, ma”, then I wake up and I got, like, the general gist of what happened. And the bad guys went down and the good guys solved it and it’s all good, right? Okay!’

She’s pretty much got it.

However, other Black Panther stars haven’t followed Angela’s lead, with Winston Duke (who plays M’Baku) mentioning how Endgame is ‘unlike anything’ Marvel have done before.

‘Marvel always goes above and beyond in trying to top their previous project. They’re 21 movies in, so now they’re just able to be as bold as they want,’ he told GQ.

The star went on to tell Collider that it’s ‘the exact running time that the movie needs to be.’

After the events of the epic Black Panther movie, T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and M’Baku all appeared in Avengers: Infinity War but Winston admitted that despite being the new kids on the block, they were welcomed in ‘right off the bat’.
