Black Friday 2020 flights: Latest update on the best deals & sales from airlines


Each year airlines tend to take part in the annual Black Friday sales. The sales offer a perfect opportunity to bag a bargain flight or save money on your next holiday.

British Airways

British Airways has not yet announced its sale offering for Black Friday 2020.

However, a spokesperson confirmed to Express.co.uk that the airline would have some deals on offer.

Customers will have to wait until closer to the big day to learn more.

In the meantime, however, the airline is offering some impressive deals for holidaymakers who simply can’t wait to book.

The airline recently launched its “Hot prices to Hot Destinations in 2021” sale.

Holidaymakers get their hands on a holiday to a sun-kissed European destination for as little as £199 per person.

Meanwhile, those looking to go a little further afield can opt for a Caribbean getaway with prices starting from as little as £599 for seven days to select destinations.

easyJet

easyJet has confirmed that it is currently working towards some impressive Black Friday deals.

Similarly, it anticipates a sale offering from its package holiday arm easyJet holidays too.

However, customers who want to bag a bargain will have to wait until closer to Friday November 27 to find out what is available to them.

An easyJet spokesperson confirmed deals will be dropping within the next couple of weeks.

However, if last year is anything to go by, holidaymakers are in for a treat.

In 2019, easyJet holidays offered discounts of up to £40 on selected holidays with destinations spanning hotspots such as Spain, Greece and Italy.

Jet2

A Jet2 spokesperson has confirmed to Express.co.uk that the airline will not be partaking in the Black Friday 2020 sale this year.

Ryanair

Ryanair has not yet released the deals it will be offering as part of its Black Friday sale this year.

However, a spokesperson confirmed to Express.co.uk that the budget carrier would be partaking in the annual sale with deals to drop in the coming week.

In 2019, the Irish-carrier offered 250,000 seats from as low as £9.99.

The airline ran a cyber week sale with new deals every day.

In order to get their hands on the cheapest tickets, customers had to act fast as many deals expired at midnight on the day of.

Virgin Atlantic

Though Virgin Atlantic has not yet released its Black Friday 2020 deals, there is good news for holidaymakers.

A spokesperson for the airline told Express.co.uk that deals will be finalised nearer the event.

Last year, Virgin Atlantic launched a full week of deals, with each new offer being unlocked at midnight.

One offer saw lucky travellers benefitting from 20 percent across Virgin Caribbean destinations.

However, customers who can’t wait to book could benefit from a deal right now.

The airline currently has packages for 2021 on sale now, combining both flights and hotels.
