BLACK Friday is the perfect time to hunt out food and drink deals ahead of the busy festive period.
If you’re planning on hosting a party (or three) – or you tend to find family raiding your drinks stash every ten minutes – Black Friday will be a fine time time to stock up.
The discount event brings plenty of alcohol deals, even in the run up to Black Friday itself.
And last year proved it, with discounts on wine, whisky and the likes of Baileys and Brut if you knew where to look.
It’s the right time of year for food deals too, as Tesco, Sainsbury’s, and other supermarket offers take off.
To keep you ahead of the great deals this year, we’ll be keeping tbs on things right here. But until Black Friday food and alcohol deals begin to flood in, here’s everything you need to know.
Which supermarket has the best alcohol deals?
Generally there’s not just one supermarket offering great prices during Black Friday.
If anything, it’s the time of year where you should be keeping your options open for the best alcohol deals.
For food and drink it makes sense to keep an eye on the likes of Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons, but don’t focus on just a few.
Specialist food retailers, like Musclefood, also take part in Black Friday.
Can you get alcohol on Amazon?
Yes. Not only does Amazon stock a variety of alcohol in its Beer, Wine and Spirits department, but the prices can be competitive.
For Amazon specifically, you can check Amazon price history site CamelCamelCamel to see how good a deal you’re getting.
Still, if it’s Christmas drinks you’re looking to stock up on Amazon is a retailer to keep your eye on.
Will amazon have Black Friday deals on food?
Perhaps. Amazon Fresh is the online retailer’s food department, but the retailer has yet to confirm whether it will feature food deals during Black Friday.
However, even if specific deals aren’t available, it’s possible there will be discounts on Prime membership – with which you can get ‘Prime Fresh’ for a monthly add-on fee of £3.99.
Amazon offered discounts on Prime for this year’s Amazon Prime Day, so something similar wouldn’t be unexpected.
