Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell have revealed they want to televise their wedding on their reality show and we’re already crying at the cuteness.
The 21-year-old daughter of late Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin, got engaged to her American boyfriend Chandler earlier this week.
And the conservationist reveals she’s keen to share footage of their nuptials on their Animal Planet show, Crikey! It’s The Irwins.
‘We are wrapping up filming of season two for the new show, which is wonderful,’ Bindi told Entertainment Tonight.
‘And Crikey! It’s the Irwins has been so special for all of us, so yes, let’s put it out there to Animal Planet.’
She went on: ‘Should we do a wedding special? I’m excited to include our engagement on Crikey! It’s the Irwins. So be sure to watch out on Animal Planet on season two.’
Chandler agreed, ‘That’ll be amazing. I love that idea,’ before Bindi promised: ‘We’ll do that.’
We don’t know if network bosses will give this (frankly fantastic) idea the green light, but we’re already imagining up all kinds of jungle-themed wedding ideas.
A safari-style dress code, a monkey as the flower girl, a Lion King soundtrack..? The possibilities are endless!
Chandler proposed to Bindi on her 21st birthday and the couple shared a stream of cute AF snaps to commemorate the big day.
Bindi wrote on Instagram: ‘July 24th 2019. On my birthday I said “yes” and “forever” to the love of my life.
‘Chandler, close to 6 years ago I fell in love with you and every day since has been a whirlwind of adventure and true happiness.
‘I’m so looking forwarding to spending our forever together as your wife. Here’s to a lifetime of friendship, purpose and unconditional love.’
The reality star later revealed she wants her little brother Robert to walk her down the aisle because that’s what their dad ‘would have wanted’.
