Billie Eilish says Michael B Jordan should play the next James Bond: ‘I think he would kill it’

Billie Eilish has suggested Michael B Jordan would be a good pick to play the next James Bond

The 18-year-old artist, who recorded the new theme for forthcoming 007 film No Time to Die, was being interviewed on Capital Breakfast when she was asked about who she thought could replace Daniel Craig

“Honestly, Michael B Jordan would kill that s**t … I think he would kill it,” she said.

No Time to Die will mark Craig’s fifth and final film outing in the Bond franchise.

Actors who have previously been suggested to replace Craig include James Norton, Tom Hiddleston, Richard Madden, Henry Golding, Idris Elba and Henry Cavill.

Were Jordan to be cast as Bond, the 33-year-old would be the first black man and the first American to play the role.

Eilish recently became the second artist to score a UK number one with the Bond theme, after Sam Smith

She debuted a live performance of “No Time to Die” at the Brit Awards with Hans Zimmer, Johnny Marr, and her brother Finneas O’Connell, with whom she created the track.

No Time to Die is released in UK cinemas on 3 April.
