Billie Eilish has been seen posing for a new photoshoot in Los Angeles after calling out YouTubers who have been impersonating her in public.

The five-time Grammy award winning singer, 18, was seen in an all-red outfit consisting of an oversized jumper with frayed hems, shorts and a matching Louis Vuitton scarf.

Her black hair with bright green roots stood out against the red, which she co-ordinated right down to her trainers, which were white with red accents.

The Ocean Eyes star had earlier taken to Instagram to urge vloggers to stop pretending to be her in public for their videos.

She shared a photo of one impersonator, writing: ‘Please stop doing this s**t. It is not safe for you and it is mean to the people who don’t know any better, you make me look bad.’

The singer shared screenshots of people’s videos on YouTube, as well as a zoomed in picture of the girl’s legs in what appear to be cheap bright green shorts and dodgy socks pulled halfway up her shins.

She found the funny side of the outfit, however, writing: ‘Also soooo disrespectful that you’d go out pretending to be me wearing THIS’, with laughing face emojis.

Pretending to be Billie in public to see if you can get mobbed or fool people into asking for selfies seems to be a bizarre trend that has sprouted up in the past couple of months on YouTube, with users donning similar oversized outfits and wigs and sunglasses to emulate the star.

Despite a wave of people pretending to be her, Billie has already had an impressive start to 2020, as she managed to bag five Grammy Awards.

She is also confirmed to perform at the Oscars, with rumours she is going to perform the new James Bond theme song (yep, she’s doing that too).

To be fair, we can totally see why people would want to be Billie Eilish, but it’s still not cool to dress up as her to fool the general public.
