Big Narstie left Richard Madeley lost for words on Good Morning Britain after mistaking him for Coronation Street actor Nigel Havers.

The British rapper appeared on the show alongside Jamaican rapper Spice, ahead of the pair heading into the recording studio together.

Speaking to hosts Richard and Ranvir Singh, Big Narstie kicked off the interview in hilarious style by mistaking the former with the actor who played Lewis Archer in the soap.

‘You’re the Coronation Street man,’ Big Narstie said to Richard. ‘I thought you was the Coronation Street man. But my bredrin says you were originally on GMTV.

‘But you look like old school James Bond. You know like Stingray or Pussy Galore? The old school ones, that’s who I thought you were.’

Richard, slightly baffled, said: ‘I’m not from Coronation Street mate.’

After Ranvir clarified he could mean Nigel Havers, Big Narstie said: ‘Yes it’s the jaw! You’ve got the stiffest jaw cuz.’

Laughing it off, Richard replied: ‘We get this a lot actually Nigel and I. I can only apologise, I’m not an actor.’

Things soon took an even more bizarre turn after Spice suddenly decided to bump and grind with GMB co-host Richard Gaisford.
