BGT's Giorgia Borg, 10, wins Golden Buzzer — but fans have seen her before

Britain’s Got Talent contestant Giorgia Borg stole the show tonight as she sang a song she wrote herself for the judges.

The BGT judges were stunned as Georgia, 10, belted out an original song, performing with a voice well beyond her years.

Giorgia, who is from Malta, was most excited to impress Alesha Dixon, calling her “the boss” before she headed out on stage.

She then dazzled both the judges and the audience as she belted out the ballad, which she had written all by herself.

Alesha was so impressed she gave Georgia her golden buzzer, meaning Georgia is automatically through to the semi-finals.

Viewers were left in tears by Giorgia’s performance, which makes her the youngest ever act to get the buzzer.

They rushed to social media to share their amazement at Giorgia’s voice, and some also remembered they had seen her somewhere else before.

One posted: “Giorgia was on Junior Eurovision last year!”

Another added: “Giorgia was amaaaazing – one of the best I’ve ever seen, she’s TEN.”

A third chipped in: “Top girl Spectacular voice!…Well done Giorgia.”

A fourth asked: “Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t Giorgia Borg respresent Malta in the Junior Eurovision song constant?”

Giorgia has indeed appeared on television before, coming third on Malta’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest last year.

BGT continues next Saturday at 8pm on ITV.
