BGT: The Champions viewers blast ‘scariest act ever’ and label it ‘boring’

Amanda Holden’s luck ran out on the series debut of Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions, as she was forced to take part in a “terrifying” act.

Asia’s Got Talent winner The Sacred Riana made it to the stage, after winning the series back in 2017.

The 27-year-old specialises in acting like a ghost-child from the Victorian era, playing strange tricks while surrounded by dolls and candles.

Approaching the panel, the Indonesian illusionist took Amanda’s photo and asked her to name the fifth victim of a mysterious serial killer.

Through her terror, 48-year-old babe Amanda suggested the name “Tom”.

She then picked a random number – 57 – and was asked to rip that page number out of a book before her on the table.

Taking her onstage, Riana started to burn the page Amanda had handed her, creating a pile of ash.

Leaving the BGT judge to sit on a creepy throne, she made her rub the pile of ash into the leather cover of the leather-bound book.

When the book was opened, the name “Tom” was written across the ripped out space in smeared ash.

In a spooky twist, a man’s face could be seen in the background of the photograph Riana had taken of Amanda.

Reeling after her performance, Simon announced: “You are the scariest act we’ve ever had on this show.”

Unfortunately, viewers were a little less impressed and begged for the performance to end quickly, branding it “boring” and a “waste of time”.

One Twitter user said: “Was anyone else bored by that? The act dragged on and wasn’t scary at all.”

A second agreed: “That was boring! So easy to work out how everything was done.”

And a third asked: “Why are the judges lying? She’s not scary, it was s***.”

While a fourth remarked: “Oh f*** off, we must be due an ad break.”

BGT: The Champions continues next Saturday at 8pm on ITV.
