Who is in the cast of Better Call Saul?

Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman – Bob Odenkirk

Bob Odenkirk stars as a failing lawyer and former scam artist Jimmy McGill in Better Call Saul.

For the fifth series, fans will finally find out how Jimmy McGill became the crooked lawyer Saul Goodman viewers know from Breaking Bad.

Odenkirk portrayed Saul Goodman for four out of five seasons of Breaking Bad, which ended in 2013.

Outside of the Breaking Bad world, Odenkirk is known for starring in the HBO sketch comedy series Mr Show with Bob and David, alongside David Cross.

His film credits include Fargo, The Post and Little Women.

Mike Ehrmantraut – Jonathan Banks

Jonathan Banks is back as former Philadelphia police officer and current private investigator, bodyguard and later fixer Mike Ehrmantraut.

In Better Call Saul and Breaking bad, Banks works with Gus (played by Giancarlo Esposito) and Saul.

Mike first appeared in season two of Breaking Bad, before becoming a series regular in the remaining three seasons.

Before Breaking Bad, Banks was well known for his notable performances in the films Airplane!, 48 Hrs and Beverly Hills Cop.

He also starred as Frank McPike in the CBS series Wiseguy.

He has a positive pubic image and supports the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), often making large donations to the Albuquerque office’s civic and charitable events, diverting their attention away from his drug empire.

Esposito most recently appeared as Moff Gideon in the Star Wars series The Mandalorian on Disney+.

He has also appeared in numerous Spike Lee films including Do the Right Thing, School Daze, and Mo’ Better Blues.

Joining the cast this series is Breaking Bad veterans, Dean Norris and Steven Michael Quezada.

They will reprise their roles as DEA Agents Hank Schrader and Steven Michael Quezada respectively.

Also making their Better Call Saul debut is Robert Forster, who starred as Ed ‘The Disappearer’ Galbraith in Breaking Bad.
